Erdogan Fumes As US Issues Arrest Warrants For His Security Detail

Police in the U.S. capital issued arrest warrants for a dozen Turkish security agents Thursday. The agents are accused of attacking protesters during a visit by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan last month.

The warrants provoked an angry denunciation by Turkey's leader Thursday.

Arrest warrants were issued for nine Turkish security guards, three Turkish police officers and two Canadians.

According to the AP, those being sought were urged to surrender and face American justice.
