Watch: Trump Wishes Former FBI Director James Comey ‘Luck’ in Senate Testimony

Tuesday at the White House, President Donald Trump was asked if he had a message former FBI Director James Comey, who is set to testify Thursday before a U.S. Senate committee.

Two days ahead of former FBI Director James Comey’s much-anticipated testimony before Congress, President Donald Trump was asked if he had anything to say to the man he fired last month. And his answer was definitely an eyebrow-raiser.

After delivering some prepared remarks during a meeting with GOP Congressional leaders, and following a quip about how famous his son-in-law Jared Kushner has become lately, a reporter tossed out a question to the president.

“I wish him luck,” Trump said in response to whether he had any words for Comey ahead of the hearing.

While there is quite a bit of excitement about Comey’s testimony on Thursday, with the broadcast networks scheduled to air live coverage, it is possible Comey may not deliver the bombshells some are hoping.

According to ABC News’ Jonathan Karl, Comey is expected to stop short of saying Trump obstructed the investigation into ex-National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.

At the same time, it is also being reported that Comey will dispute the fact he told the president he wasn’t under investigation.
