Former WH Press Secretary Ari Fleischer Joins Fox News

On Monday Fox News announced that it has hired former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer to serve as a contributor.

Fleischer, who served for two years under former President George W. Bush and left the administration in 2003, will be a featured presence on both FNC and Fox Business Network.

According to Fox, Fleischer will offer "strategic communications and political analysis." In recent years the former Press Secretary has served as a communications consultant and analyst on White House-press relations, leaning on his personal experience to comment on the currently strained relationship between the Press and the Trump Administration.

This marks another high profile hire for the Right-leaning Cable news network, after it announced late last month that it would hire Representative Jason Chaffetz as a contributor following his departure from Congress.
