Warren Goes Toe-To-Toe With A Group Of Veterans, Guess Who It Ends Poorly For?

Veterans Assisting Veterans is an assistance program in Massachusetts that has taken back its invitation to Senator Elizabeth Warren to attend a fundraiser.

The veterans group came to this decision as Warren decided to support immigrants over supporting her own local veterans. Veterans Assisting Veterans was very vocal about Warren’s stance.
“If you don’t want to respond, you don’t want to support, we asked you to come to our rally, our message to you is stay home, we don’t want you,” says John MacDonald, of the vets group, according to the Boston Herald.
“I think that really demonstrates where her heart is. To me, it’s really, really frustrating, and our group is really frustrated.”
MacDonald and the rest of the group are certain that Warren does not have their best interests in mind.
“Elizabeth Warren and people like her seem to have a very hard time understanding the difference between legal and illegal. … It seems to be the fact that she’s more interested in creating political theater than she is in helping Americans,” MacDonald he told Fox News earlier this year.
There’s hundreds of veterans dying every day. … Why don’t we address those problems first, and then we’ll worry about other people coming into our country,” added Dennis Moschella, the group’s president, during a joint appearance with MacDonald.
“There’s too much at stake, veterans have been promised benefits and they have been promised really a lot and the government doesn’t always come through on that,” MacDonald tells the paper.
“We need advocates, and we shouldn’t have to fight this hard.”
