WATCH: UK Prime Minister DEFENDS Trump, Praises ‘Commitment’ to USA

Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Theresa May defended President Trump over the weekend, shutting down rumors surrounding his “mental health” and saying he’s simply working on behalf of the people of the United States.

May was speaking with the BBC when she was asked to weigh-in on Michael Wolff’s recent book “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” telling a reporter that she’s worked with Trump on a “number of issues” and believes he’s “taking decisions” on behalf of hard-working Americans.

You’ve seen a lot of Donald Trump one way or another; child or stable genius?” asked the BBC.

“Obviously, I’ve worked with President Trump on a number of issues, as we continue to work with the United States on a number of issues,” said May. “What I make of him is somebody who’s taking decisions on what he believes is in the best interests in the United States. The United Kingdom government and I will take decisions here on what we believe is in the best interest of the UK.”

“When I deal with President Trump what I see is somebody who is committed to ensuring that he is taking decisions in the best interest of the United States,” she added.
