North Korean Computers Use A Knock-Off Version Of Mac Software

Former Google employee Will Scott had the chance to visit the Pyongyang University of Science and Technology in North Korea. While he was there, he also purchased a copy of North Korea's mysterious "Red Star 3" operating system before returning to America. The software is designed to look a lot like Apple's macOS operating system. It features stunning and picturesque wallpapers, as well as word processing and email applications. However, when given the option to select one's location, South Korea isn't listed. Red Star's web browser is called "Naenara," and is a heavily modified version of Mozilla Firefox. https://ift.tt/2pBSugU http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com
