America's Oldest Living WWII Veteran Turns 112, Still Smokes 12 Cigars A Day

Business Insider reports that America's oldest World War II veteran, and the oldest man in America, turned 112 years-old on Friday. Army veteran Richard Overton, who served in the South Pacific in World War II, was born in Austin, Texas, in 1906. According to local NBC affiliate, KSN, Overton said on Thursday, "I feel fine every day. No pain and no aches." Despite his age, aspects of Overton's lifestyle aren't what doctors would recommend. The Dallas Morning News reported that every day, Overton smokes 12 Tampa Sweet cigars, drinks multiple cups of coffee as well as Dr. Pepper. When asked in 2012 by comedian Steve Harvey how he has lived so long, Overton simply said: "Just keep living, don't die." https://ift.tt/2I8DNyF http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com
