Banks Might Be Charging Fees For Paper Statements

We all hate overdraft and ATM fees, which cost consumers $150 per year on average, but there’s another banking fee you may not even be aware that you’re paying: $1 to $5 for opting into paper statements rather than the electronic versions. Bank charges $2 and Bank of America charges you $5 if if you request that the statement is printed. It’s true of paper statements from certain store-branded credit cards, too, for retailers including Ann Taylor, Dress Barn and Victoria’s Secret, as well as wireless companies like T-Mobile, according to the Consumer’s Union. https://ift.tt/2KsKEQd http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com
