Emergency Crews Prep more Evacuations As Hawaii Volcano Fissures Spread

According to a report by Reuters, emergency crews are preparing to evacuate more people on Tuesday, as fissures continue to spread from Hawaii's erupting Kilauea volcano, five days after it began exploding. Approximately 1,700 people have already been ordered to leave their homes, with 35 homes and buildings already destroyed, and deadly volcanic gases escaping through widening cracks in the earth. So far, Reuters reports, no deaths or serious injuries have been reported. However, Hawaii Civic Defense Administrator Talmadge Magno told a community meeting, the evacuation zone could grow as fissures continue to spread into new areas on the eastern side of the Big Island,. https://ift.tt/2KMObtB http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com
