Geological Survey Concerned Kilauea May Explode

The US Geological Survey is becoming increasingly concerns about the fate of Hawaii's Kilauea volcano. Although the volcano began to erupt over a week ago, tremors continue to shake the surrounding area, tearing new fissures in the ground that are spewing with molten lava. The geological survey thinks an explosion is building as the volcano continues to erupt. If Kilauea blows it's top, Hawaii's Big Island could be showered with boulders, and cascaded with noxious gases and acid rain. But those sorts of explosions are caused by molten lava mixing with a local water, creating an immense amount of steam, which builds up pressure until the volcano explodes. https://ift.tt/2jNPQmy http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com
