Hawaii Braces For New Lava Outbreaks As Tremors Continue

According to a report by Reuters, dozens of tremors continued to rattle residents on Hawaii's Big Island on Friday, as molten rock from Kilauea volcano flowed under an area where homes have already been destroyed by fiery lava geysers. Around 2,000 people have already been forced to evacuate their homes after fifteen large fissured opened up on the eastern flank of Kilauea, one of the world's most active volcanoes. Reuters reports that steaming cracks in the ground, the first sign a fissure may be opening, have now closed roads in areas to the northeast and southwest of Leilani Estates where scientists believe the next lava geysers may appear. https://ift.tt/2jOEe2s http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com
