Men Arrested At Philly Starbucks Reach Settlement

Rashon Nelson and Donte Robinson have come to an agreement with Starbucks. They were the two men that were arrested in a Philadelphia Starbucks in April, without being charged for any crime. A Starbucks employee called the police to have the men arrested after they asked to use the bathroom and refused to buy anything. The 23-year olds were waiting for a colleague to have a business meeting. Nelson and Robinson have settled with Starbucks for an undisclosed amount. They'll also have their undergraduate college tuition covered, through Starbucks's partnership with Arizona State University. In addition, the city of Philadelphia has agreed to spend $200,000 on an entrepreneurial program for high schoolers. Robinson told AP " This is the best way to see that change that we want to see ... It's not a right-now thing that's good for right now, but I feel like we will see the true change over time." https://ift.tt/2HKXWXn http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com
