Sulfur Dioxide Prompts Warning In Hawaii

On Tuesday, Hawaii County officials have warned residents that dangerous levels of the toxic gas, sulfur dioxide, was rising from some of the fissures. The county's civil defense agency said that "Severe conditions may exist such as choking and inability to breathe." The agency warned residents to leave the area and to get medical attention if they were severely affected by the gas. Since the Kilauea volcano erupted May 3, it's been one nightmare after another for residents of southeast Big Island. https://ift.tt/2rI8gsk http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com
