U.N. Could Help Myanmar Gather Evidence of Crimes Against Rohingya

On Tuesday, Britain’s U.N. envoy suggested that the U.N. Security Council could consider ways to help Myanmar collect evidence of crimes committed during a military crackdown on Rohingya Muslims. Britain’s U.N. Ambassador Karen Pierce told reporters that an investigation needs evidentiary standards to achieve accountability. Pierece said “There are two ways of doing that basically, one is an International Criminal Court referral, the second would be the Burmese government do that themselves." https://ift.tt/2rdE1JG http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com
