United Airlines Making Big Changes To Pet Policies

On Tuesday, US airline United announced a number of new restrictions for pets traveling in the cargo hold of its planes through its PetSafe program. Starting June 18, United said it will only transport cats and dogs in the cargo areas and will ban dozens of breeds. PetSafe reservations to and from Las Vegas, Palm Springs, Phoenix, and Tucson between May 1 and September 30 will also not be accepted "due to high temperature restrictions." The airline added in its statement that it will also work with humane animal organization American Humane "to improve the well-being of all pets that travel on United." https://ift.tt/2jmtJmZ http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com
