U.S. Plane Crash in Georgia Kills All Nine Crew Members

According to authorities, all nine people on board were killed when a Puerto Rico Air National Guard cargo place crashed near Savannah, Georgia on Wednesday, scattering fiery debris over a highway and railroad tracks. Officials claim the plane, a Hercules WC-130, was in good working condition despite being approximately 50 years old, and was making what had been scheduled to be its last flight. Brigadier General Isabelo Rivera, assistant general of the Puerto Rico Air National Guard, said in a statement that all nine crew members were killed in the crash. Rivera added that the names of the crew would not be released until their relatives were notified. Major Paul Dahlen, spokesman for the Puerto Rico National Guard, told Pentagon reporters that the plane had been on a training mission to the Aerospace Regeneration and Maintenance Group in Tuscon, Arizona. https://ift.tt/2KxoX2r http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com
