Ford Senate Prosecutor Says Case Against Kavanaugh Is Weak



Rachel Mitchell is the prosecutor who questioned Christine Blasey Ford on Thursday. Business Insider says Mitchell wrote in a memo that Ford's case against Kavanaugh was weak. The five-page memo was obtained by The Washington Post.

In it, she Mitchell detailed several inconsistencies from Ford's testimony. Ford testified Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in the early 1980s. Mitchell pointed out in the memo that Ford wasn't able to recall the date.

She never identified Kavanaugh by name in the evidence provided to the committee. The evidence provided to the committee include notes from a 2012 therapy session.
